Earthy Jane's Walnut Cinnamon Protein Bites

Ingredients:

 6 Pitted dates
 1 cup California walnuts
 ½ cup Vanilla protein powder
 1 tbsp Cinnamon
 4 tbsp Maple syrup
Optional Maple Cinnamon Drizzle:
 2 tbsp Maple syrup
 2 tbsp Cinnamon
 1 tbsp Coconut oil, melted
 Crumbled walnuts for garnish

Preparation:

In a food processor or high-speed blender, add the dates and walnuts. Blend until the walnuts are broken down into very small pieces.

Pour into a bowl and add the vanilla protein, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Mix until a thick dough forms. Mix with your hands and press the dough together to test if it holds its shape. If it is still too dry, add another tablespoon of maple syrup.

Roll into bite-sized balls and refrigerate.

Optional drizzle: Mix the maple syrup, cinnamon, and coconut oil. Drizzle over the protein bites. Crumble a few crumbled walnuts on top and refrigerate.
